The Grideye system is developed by the Cloudmon360 team, with extensive experience from the telecom industry and open source community.
The same team is behind the open source framework CLIXON / CLICON (used in millions of devices on the internet), founded Prosilient Technologies (Acquired by Accedian), an end to end monitoring solution and now the Grideye system, originally developed for the Swedish academia networks SUNET and NORDUnet.
The Grideye system from Cloudmon360 is a solution for testing and monitoring the performance of telecom networks, enterprise networks, cloud infrastructures and data centers.
The system provides fast and simple addition of new tests from the open source community or from in-house design into one single framework.
It’s cloud native and adheres to the cloud native charter, containerized, open APIs (REST, Netconf / Yang), a system for integrating, controlling and running network wide tests.
The tests can be re-used from the Cloudmon test library, the open source community or developed in-house. A test can be active or passive, “sysinfo” reads is one example of a passive “test”, IO write is one example of an active or synthetic test.
